Activity: (I)nvestigate

For the same web article on your own topic that you used in the last activity, investigate the source. Remember, you are tying to find what others are saying about them, not what they are saying about themselves.

  1. Search about the source on Google or another search engine. Remember you are looking to find information about the source's credibility and bias.
    1. What did you find and where (what website) did you find it?
  2. Check MediaBiasFactCheck.com. Is your source listed there?
    1. If yes, what was their bias rating?
    2. If yes, what was their credibility/Factual Reporting rating?
  3. Did you use any other sources to check credibility?
    1. If so, what was the website and what did they say?
  4. Based on the information you found, what is your evaluation of the credibility and bias of the source of your web article?
