Take note of your findings on a piece of paper or an electronic document:
- What is your research question or topic?
- What is the web article you are examining? (If you don't already have a web article for your research topic, find something something promising to use for this and the following activities. Use the web search engine of your choice, like Google, Firefox, Safari, etc. Do not use OneSearch for this activity.)
- Name of the website
- Title of the Article
- URL of article
- Are you already familiar with this news source or content producer?
- Did you notice any emotionally loaded language when you read the title (Remember not to invest time reading the article at this point)?
- If yes, document the emotionally loaded language and any feeling(s) or emotions you had from reading the title.
